Hans Toensfeldt | February 1, 2023
We have lost a most valued member of our community this week. Hans passed away peacefully, surrounded by family Wednesday evening. As many of you know, he has had health problems for the last few months. He was active in our community to the end and has added so much over the 40+ years. A memorial will be planned and I will keep our community informed. If you have a story about Hans, please share with me and I will make sure the family gets it. He will be missed!

LOANS & SCHOLARSHIPS
The designated winner(s) may receive up to a $3,500 scholarship; additional awards may be given. The winner(s) will be formally recognized during the Santa Clara County Fair. Applications are due to the Clover Foundation the fourth Friday in April. If necessary, interviews will be held at a location and date to be determined.
No-interest Livestock Loans for 4-H and FFA market animals are available for youth residing in Santa Clara County. The money is available from the Ed Vargas Livestock Fund. The number of loans granted may be limited by available funds, so do not delay in contacting the Foundation.
HERITAGE HOG SCHOLARSHIP
Be part of the Clover Foundation by raising the next Heritage Hog and earn a $5,000 scholarship. We will cover the expense for the purchase and feed of the animal. You will raise, show, and take the hog to auction at the 2023 fair. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to The Clover Foundation. This is your opportunity to give back to the foundation!
