About Us

THE CLOVER FOUNDATION

The Clover Foundation of Santa Clara County is a non-profit corporation organized by spirited public citizens dedicated to the development and growth of the county’s youth. The Foundation utilizes private resources to enable individuals or organizations to advance the membership, leadership, and influence of 4-H, FFA, and other agricultural youth development programs. 

Our Mission

To preserve for California youth the native values of rural life by promoting agriculture, home economics, and citizenship education. We encourage study in these and related fields contributing to youth and world development. 

DONATIONS 

Your donation will help the youth of Santa Clara County to obtain:

  • Initiative and leadership skills
  • Responsibility toward their community
  • Service to others through the principles of living and working cooperatively

The Foundation is staffed by a board of volunteers, all with extensive experience working with youth development programs.

Our Programs

Your donation to The Clover Foundation of Santa Clara County is an investment in agricultural education of local youth and the future of your community in Santa Clara County, CA.  All gifts gratefully acknowledged.  For gifts of property or other non-cash gifts, please contact The Clover Foundation of Santa Clara County Board by mail, email or by calling 408.674.3491. The Clover Foundation of Santa Clara County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization EIN# 94-2744667 and all monies raised are spent on youth development.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The designated winner(s) may receive up to a $3,500 scholarship; additional awards may be given. The winner(s) will be formally recognized during the Santa Clara County Fair.

HERITAGE HOG

Be part of the Clover Foundation by raising the next Heritage Hog. We will cover the expenses for the purchase and feed of the animal, and you will show it at the 2021 Santa Clara County Fair. 

LIVESTOCK LOANS

Zero-interest Livestock Loans for 4-H and FFA market animals are available for youth residing in Santa Clara County. Available for market sheep, swine, market goat or steers.
